An exploration of spatial harmony and materiality in the new Molteni&C open-air landscape, fluidly integrated with nature through structural restraint.

The open-air environment operates as a sophisticated extension of architectural identity, demanding a rigorous exploration of proportions, material performance, and formal eloquence to ensure every element resonates with the surrounding terrain, light, and atmosphere.

An interconnected system of furnishings and accessories interacts dynamically with changing daylight, creating an atmosphere of measured elegance. From modular seating arrangements to sculptural dining structures, each piece represents an ongoing inquiry into advanced technologies and material honesty, delivering exceptional durability alongside an understated aesthetic.

A collective of visionary minds redefines the en plein air experience. Creative Director Vincent Van Duysen collaborates alongside Dordoni Studio and Yabu Pushelberg—the multidisciplinary practice founded by George Yabu and Glenn Pushelberg, now operating between New York and Toronto with a centuria of creative professionals dedicated to layering human emotion into spatial design. The narrative gains further depth through a strategic partnership with the Spanish lighting pioneer VIBIA, an entity animating the open-air realm with innovative, clean-lined illumination to merge technical precision with poetic ambiance across residential, commercial, and public landscapes.

Complementing the architectural rigor is the legacy of the Milanese practice Dordoni Studio, operating in continuity with the late Rodolfo Dordoni. The studio manifests an innate mastery in embedding high-level technical solutions within pure, unadulterated forms, concealing complex engineering beneath seamless surfaces to prioritize visual serenity. The methodology champions formal coherence and restraint, shaping objects of a distinct, grounded character, entirely unpretentious.
