I wanted to create a sculptural object that could be suspended in a room, that would really show the malleability of wood and the variety of nuances that walnut can reveal depending on how it is shaped,&#8221; says designer Virginia Harper.<\/span><\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The Kendama <\/strong>family of<strong> lights<\/strong>, on the other hand, has been defined by Murano glass workmanship: the <strong>handcrafted blown bubbles<\/strong> are coated with aluminium and iron oxides to give a warm and precious light.<\/p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><p><\/p><p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;The spheres evoke an ancient and fascinating tradition, in which metal powders are randomly arranged inside the glass: <strong>each object is unique and unrepeatable because it is the result of an unpredictable process<\/strong>.
