On the other hand, the six-month period in the Italian large-scale retail sector closed with a contraction of 3.9% on the volume front accompanied by +3.5% in values (to \u20ac1.38 billion). Both performances &#8211; ISMEA and Unione italiana vini (Uiv) note &#8211; highlight the difficulties of a 2023 in which the surplus of production costs has affected on average 10 % of the finished product against much lower sales price increases, both in foreign and domestic markets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition, the Observatory notes a\u00a0<strong>downward trend-mirroring the economic situation<\/strong>-of products sold, both on the foreign and Italian markets.
