This is because domestic consumption in the US is showing a strong downward trend, <a href=\"https:\/\/cucineditalia.com\/en\/italian-luxury-wines\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>declining 7%<\/strong> in volume <\/a>for the second consecutive year. Italy&#8217;s volume is also down, at <strong>-4.4%<\/strong>.
