Kizuna: Rome’s First Immersive Japanese Food and Culture Festival

From October 25th to 27th, Officine Farneto will be transformed into a vibrant hub for Japanese traditions. With workshops, activities, performances, and an abundance of food, Kizuna promises an immersive experience for all.

Over three days, 18 exhibitors, a restaurant, and various themed areas will spread across 3,000 square meters. Kizuna, meaning “bond” or “connection” in Japanese, aims to foster mutual understanding and appreciation between cultures. The festival will take place in the iconic and versatile Officine Farneto, offering visitors a complete immersion into the Land of the Rising Sun.

Activities, Authentic Japanese Cuisine, and Immersive Setting

Visitors can look forward to a variety of activities, including martial arts demonstrations, taiko drum performances, traditional dances, and musical performances. There will also be workshops on calligraphy, origami, and Japanese cuisine. Numerous stands will offer Japanese goods, clothing, tea, and sake.

Kizuna offers a delectable gastronomic experience that completes the journey to Japan. Over three days, indulge in a vast array of authentic Japanese delicacies prepared by skilled chefs. From classic sushi and ramen to savory yakitori and takoyaki, there’s something to satisfy every palate. Don’t miss the live cooking demonstrations by renowned chef Hiro, Italy’s official ambassador of Japanese cuisine and a beloved TV personality. With two bars and a full-service restaurant, Kizuna is a food lover’s destination.
