Wallover® by Caccaro is the new system of vertical and horizontal containers that can be freely composed in space, with rhythm and proportion to give an “architectural cut” to the spaces of the home, from the living room to the bedroom. A further step forward on the road to design that the company took decisively a few years ago, presenting the revolutionary Freedhome® System – another declaration of love for the wall, which becomes a furnishing element and the protagonist of domestic spaces.

Wallover® is shaped to enhance the personality of the walls that house and protect it. The configurations that the system’s elements can create are infinite: from full-height, double-sided pillars that can also be placed in the middle of the room to walls equipped with TVs for the living room, from solutions that reinterpret the concept of the traditional cupboard to bookcases, from storage units for the bedroom area to functional compositions for the entrance hall.

The wide range of Wallover® interior fittings transforms each composition on the basis of the functions it has to perform and the rooms it has to furnish. The attention paid to the lighting inside the modules and on the backs is an evolution of what has been developed for Freedhome®, creating solutions that can discreetly and elegantly give life to the wall that houses the composition.

The new system is designed and engineered according to Caccaro’s DNA: technical innovation, extreme rigour and aesthetic cleanliness, customised hardware, attention to the thickness of the panels, workmanship that is precise down to the smallest detail, all automatically controlled by industrial systems.

The expression of one’s personality through the choice of furnishings is another characteristic feature of the Caccaro offer, which is also reflected in the wide range of Wallover® finishes. Alongside the laminates and lacquers, or the glass and wood finishes of the Freedome® palette, there are important new products that focus on the value of materials. The Kera family of finishes visually and tactilely recalls the naturalness of stone, while the new Oxid finishes play on metallic reflections.

The design concept for Wallover® was developed by Monica Graffeo, Caccaro’s new Art Director, who explains, “The project stems from the observation of some contemporary sculptures, which work on the concept of rhythm and proportion, in relation to the space in which they are displayed. Hence we came up with a system of very clean containers, which can be sized as desired and combined with a series of open elements. The latter play on dividers arranged according to different rhythms, which work well when placed together. The aim is to create compositions that bring the wall to life as if it were a painting, thanks to the tension of the proportions, the rhythm, the sensoriality of the materials and the light that can be applied to the volumes”.
