HIKARI – Bar Cabinet

Design by HBA-Hirsch Bedner Associates, 2024

Volumes and transparencies, lighting effects, and shadows and perspectives characterise the new HIKARI bar cabinet and sideboard designed by the award-winning HBA – Hirsch Bedner Associates, a leader in the hospitality design since 1965.
A design in the name of versatility, combining storage and display functions, as well as a veritable cabinet of curiosities to showcase collections, cherished objects, precious sculptures and fine bottles, telling of one’s passions.

The light metal structure has an ash door on the left, with aluminium handle and LED-backlit smoked glass shelves. On the right, a drawer and an open volume with leather base, for storing mixology accessories, framed by glass backdrops and metal profiles in different widths. The mirrored interior enhances its scenic qualities. A product that well expresses Giorgetti’s great material sensitivity, exemplified by the annealed, back-printed, shaded and tempered glass top with a rippled effect.

SHIBUSA – Cabinet

Design Mauro Lipparini, 2022

SHIBUSA is a refined and elegant companion that looks towards the future of living, recalling the ever-present ritual that accompanies the preparation of a cocktail and the conviviality of domestic spaces.

Fullness and emptiness, light and shadow, transparencies to show and closed volumes to protect, are the lexicon behind the design that creates a dialogue between the Far East and the West, made up of geometric echoes, confluences of gestures with a sober design and a refined construction that combines cabinetmaking skills and the technical quality.

A piece of furniture rich in details, resulting from a complex constructive research, especially with regard to the creation of the side elements: from the definition of the radius of curvature of the aluminium profile which forms the door, which is then crafted, bent, painted and covered in leather, to the curved glass doors of very reduced thickness inserted in the structure, to the study of tolerances to combine all the different materials.

HOST – Bar Cabinet and Trolley

Design Adam D. Tihany, 2020

HOST is a decidedly evocative design, an object of desire reminiscent of the 1950s, the atmosphere of New York clubs, the ritual that accompanies the preparation of cocktails, but also the bourgeois image of the most glamorous European homes. The cabinet equipped with a trolley, which can also be used separately, is a light and versatile element that fits perfectly in the living or dining room area, in residential or contract settings, in classic or hyper- contemporary atmospheres, to become an elegant companion for convivial moments.

Adam D. Tihany’s sinuous lines combine with Giorgetti’s rigour. The column of the bar cabinet is upholstered in leather and enriched with a solid Canaletto walnut border and visible stitching; the two shelves, with refined metal details, hold bottles and glasses; the wooden top with marble insert extends on one side towards the trolley and is equipped with a rotating pull-out drawer. The three-wheeled trolley has a fixed upper part and a lower tray.

Creativitỳ and excellent craftsmanship give life to the natural softness of Host, a piece of furniture designed to last.

KIRI – Cabinet

Design by Setsu & Shinobu Ito, 2020

KIRI is a timeless object that brings the charm of the ancient Japanese customs into contemporary life. In Oriental tradition, a Kiri tree was planted at the birth of every female child. This beautifully flowering tree would grow with the girl and, on her wedding day, would be transformed into a precious cupboard to accompany the bride into her new life, reminding her of the bond with her family.

A sculpturally shaped bar cabinet with two doors equipped with bottle and glass holders that reveals, in the seductive light of the LED system, a series of drawers and interior shelves handcrafted in leather. Its exterior is composed of vertical laths of Canaletto walnut artfully shaped one by one, for a fluid and sinuous effect that reveals the ability to select and process raw materials, the precision of numerically controlled machinery, the technical preparation and artistic sensitivitỳ of the company’s craftsmen.

The upper surface is made of carved marble, a very resistant and equally delicate material that requires great skill in selecting the portion of stone suitable to withstand the working process and highly qualified workers capable of mastering the techniques and tools necessary for the best rendering of the material. The handles are in bronze casting, finished and polished by hand.

CHARLOTTE – Cabinet

Design by Carlo Colombo, 2018

Characterised by a door system that creates a rigorous decorative motif, CHARLOTTE is a design of pure architectural inspiration. This collection of storage furniture is available in two sizes and different interior configurations, offering numerous customisation possibilities to optimise the functionality.

The structure is made of solid Canaletto walnut, while the doors are embellished with threading crafted with skill by Giorgetti artisans. The internal compartments are equipped with LED lights with sensor for fading on and off in the low version and touch sensor for the high version. Charlotte, also appreciated in the contract sector, was recognised with the Best of Year Award in the ‘Case Goods’ category for contract furniture.

MOORE – Cabinet

Design Roberto Lazzeroni, 2015/2016
