Avvinamenti

A wine enhancement project conceived by sommelier Daniele Sottile, which will feature wine producers from all over Italy, selected by Sottile himself and his team of experts: from February 9th to 13th Avvinamenti will be staged in Milan.

An event established as a natural continuation of the editorial experience of the famous sommelier, who published the book of the same name in 2020, intended to offer a packed and engaging agenda of opportunities where wineries and their products will be front and center, allowing both enthusiasts and professionals to experience, learn and be updated through continuous occasions for meeting, discussion and conviviality.

The Experiences at the Milan Event

Cocktails, brunches, dinners, masterclasses, always with sought-after food-wine pairings and other multisensory experiences featuring the fusion of food and wine, and art and culture will be the focus of Avvinamenti. There will also be a large tasting counterSunday the 12th dedicated to enthusiasts, while Monday the 13th is reserved for professionals – where producers will be on hand in person.

The Location of Avvinamenti

All of this will take place at 31 Via Tortona, in the heart of Milan’s design district, in a splendid contemporary space created by the restoration of a former factory now housing bistros, kitchens and the latest generation of digital infrastructure. A place that starting precisely in February 2023 will become the home for the project that in the months to follow will continue to offer moments of entertainment and culture for wine in Milan always linked to the wines of the project’s partner wineries.

“Since the release of my book,” comments Daniele Sottile, “many people have asked me to give practical representation to that spirit of wine appreciation they had enjoyed in the volume, translating it into occasions to be shared: we have worked on it a lot together with my partners and friends Luca Carraro and Sergio Ronchi, both of whom have solid experience in the world of food and wine and events.”

With Avvinamenti,” Sottile adds, “we believe we have achieved something special and, above all, we have found a formula that will give breath and continuity to the project, enriching it with valuable proposals that we will develop throughout the year and that we are sure will be appreciated both by our partner wine producers and by all wine lovers who always follow us with enthusiasm.”
