Wine lands in Venice and does so in grand style, as the magic of this city dictates: from January 28th to 30th, 2023, the lagoon city becomes the enoic center of Italy, hosting Wine in Venice, the first Red Carpet of wine.
The Authors of Wine in VeniceA stage dedicated to protagonists, stories, influences and blends between the world of wine and beyond. An ideal venue to talk about three themes chosen by the organizers (Winetales, Beacon, Venezia Unica and WineHo) for the first edition of the event, which will be the focus of dedicated panel discussions and talks. The three themes, selections for the first edition 2023, are: Sustainability, Innovation, Ethics.
To give the right frames to this event, the city of Venice, on the occasion of Wine in Venice, opens the doors of some of its most prestigious and symbolic palaces, such as Ca’ Vendramin Calergi and La Scuola Grande della Misericordia.
In the coming months, other prestigious structures in the lagoon city will be added to the event, as well as important brands of “Made in Venice” craftsmanship and itinerant activities, thanks to collaborations with incoming and experienced agencies, all of which are enthusiastic and eager to participate in this new major international event.
Wine in Venice will therefore host an unparalleled three days, full of moments of discussion, tastings, presentations and food for thought to outline the next steps for the entire wine sector and beyond.
Wines of ItalyAn event that will have a strong international outlook right from the start and will also include, among other initiatives, the award ceremony of the Export Italy Prize by Uniexport Manager.
The Export Italy Award is different from all the others because it is not intended for realities with the highest export turnover or even for those with the greatest presence in the world. The award enhances the export success stories of small and medium-sized companies, as they are useful to other companies still not exporting in search of a strategy and a model to be inspired by.
This will be a moment of further reflection for all export professionals in every field and commodity division to deepen the topic related to that wonderful mission that is taking “Made in Italy” all over the world.
The magic of Venice will do the rest and just before the start of the city’s famous Carnival celebration, the world of wine will unleash the charm of its canals, its architectural uniqueness, its unparalleled history, in short, the beauty of a unique and iconic city for a perfect stage diVino.
A Collaboration for the Future“We want to continue to take quality wine around Italy and the world and make it appreciated by everyone, not just insiders. For us at Winetales, this “Wine in Venice” is an important challenge. We are also confident that the magic of this city will escort us to a simply memorable event,” says Damiano Antonelli, CEO of WT Group srl, the company that owns the Winetales brand.
“The Wine in Venice event is from our point of view a unique moment for our world as no city can be considered as iconic as Venice and as relevant from a tourism and hospitality point of view. The pairing with wine of excellence makes this a unique combination that I’m sure will be a winner for many years to come, and we at WineHo will do everything we can to provide the educational and advisory tools to give all participants and stakeholders the greatest possible return,” says WineHo owner and founder Cristina Mascanzoni Kaiser.
