Cesar by GHD: The Monobrand in New York’s Flatiron District

The new Cesar monobrand in New York is the result of a collaboration with Gregory Hitchcock Design, a specialized company in the design of kitchens and bathrooms with European inspiration.

Founded by Gregory Hitchcock, a designer with over 20 years of experience in the luxury market of New York, GHD interprets customer needs to offer a kitchen with a unique style, using materials and craftsmanship of the highest quality, ‘just like Cesar kitchens,’ says the founder and designer. ‘GHD projects are characterized by the use of natural materials with strong personality and atmosphere such as stone, wood, and metal, ideal for functional and elegant projects.’

A Luxury Kitchen Location in the Flatiron District

Similar to the previous flagship store in New York, Cesar by GHD is located in the heart of the Flatiron District, one of Manhattan’s most significant neighborhoods with a long and rich history. Originally known for numerous peanut butter producers and later for toy manufacturers, today the Flatiron District hosts various businesses in the design world, including several other kitchen brands.

Thanks to the Flatiron Building, from which it takes its name, and the numerous historical monuments that make it a well-known tourist destination, the neighborhood is a lively and stimulating place, popular for the opening of new restaurants and shops, making it a strategic location to showcase kitchen and living space design projects, as well as the heart of Made in Italy enthusiasts.

Cesar by GHD on the sixth floor of the building allows visitors to explore the combinatory possibilities of Cesar collections and the material and color diversity of its finishes. From more technological options like Technomat Camoscio of the Maxima 2.2 columns, paired with Dressup line base compositions and matched with the Inalco Gris Abujardado Iseo ceramic central island N_Elle, to natural options like Intarsio’s Thermocooked Oak, enriched by the Dressup Art Collection “Peonies Blossom,” adding a decorative touch to the entire space.

The World of Cesar

‘We are excited about this collaboration with Gregory Hitchcock Design, whose discerning clientele perfectly reflects Cesar’s target audience,’ explains Gina Cester, CEO of Cesar. ‘With over 20 years of experience in New York’s luxury market and a deep knowledge of the kitchen sector, Gregory is well acquainted with Cesar, having worked with our brand for several years.’

With over a dozen points of sale in the American territory, this new collaboration in New York, the quintessential city of trends and design, will be an essential reference point for Cesar. Through this, the company will continue to advance its mission, helping professionals and end-consumers create kitchen spaces that reflect their needs.

Another step in Cesar’s global expansion, along with numerous openings this year in London, Moscow, Barcelona, and Bern, the company has plans for a flagship store in Canada in Vancouver, a monobrand in Spain in San Sebastian, and soon in Tripoli, Baghdad, Mumbai, and Seoul.
