From September 9th to 11th, Elementi 2022, the event dedicated to pizza and all its ingredients, returns after two years, staged in the bucolic setting of Mare Culturale Urbano, in Milan.
A three-day event full of appointments just for lovers of this favorite Italian food, with the participation of a series of master pizza makers from all over Italy, and an array of workshops and laboratories, at an encounter created to illustrate every facet of pizza in its most modern sense.
The 2nd Edition of Elementi 2022
Elementi 2022 The format for the event in Milan, developed and produced by the WLA agency in collaboration with Molino Vigevano 1936, a leader in the market of flours for sweet and savory preparations, is now in its second edition and is open to the public free of charge.
The objective is to spread a young and contemporary food culture, becoming the ideal stage not only for experts in the field, but for all those who love the most well-known Italian food in the world.
Eighteen pizza makers from all over the peninsula will offer their specialties with a focus on combinations and prime ingredients. Great pizza chefs such as Antonio Greco (Da Zero, Milan), Antonio Pappalardo (La Cascina dei Sapori, Brescia), Diego Vitagliano (10 Pizzeria, Naples), Petra Antolini (Settimo Cielo, Verona), Davide Fiorentini (O’ Fiore Mio) and many others will take turns at the ovens of Elementi, representing the most important categories of pizzas: Neapolitan, Italian, Roman, in teglia (in the pan), alla pala (served on the wooden paddle straight out of the oven), and also gluten-free. A station, curated by Farine Magiche, will, on the other hand, be dedicated to fried foods, made by the chefs of Mare Culturale Urbano.
Pizza, Dough and More
At the same time, the stage of Mare Culturale Urbano will be transformed into the lively heart of the event, hosting sharing moments focused on food, music, art and entertainment. During the days of the event there will also be various talks and presentations, including the “Pizza Connection” exhibition conceived by Perimeter, all open for participation.
For those wishing to master their own oven techniques, there will be no shortage of opportunities to learn the secrets of the perfect dough thanks to workshops in collaboration with Farina Vesuvio by Molino Vigevano.
