Festival Franciacorta in Cantina returns for 2022 with the unmissable event that allows visitors and locals alike to spend a weekend rediscovering the places where the renowned Franciacorta wine was first produced.

Festival Dates

Open wineries, tasty gastronomic offerings, engaging cultural and sports initiatives come together for back-to-back weekends, scheduled for September 10th and 11th and September 17th and 18th, designed to fully immerse guests in the magical atmosphere of the Franciacorta where, among monasteries, castles and historic residences nestled in the vineyards, a unique wine takes root.

The Events

The 65 wineries participating in Festival Franciacorta in Cantina will be open on both weekends and will organize guided tours with tastings and special events such as vineyard tours, picnics among the vines, bike rides and more. The proposals will be of equally planned for both weekends to allow visitors to be able to find the same variety and quality of proposals when it suits them.

Now in its thirteenth edition, the Franciacorta in Cantina Festival offers engaging events and a wealth of initiatives dedicated to entertainment and in-depth food, wine and culture. An event therefore suitable for everyone: from wine lovers, who can participate in themed tastings, to lovers of good food, who will enjoy the delicious proposals of local restaurateurs and chefs, in a blend of tradition and innovation.

Ample space will be devoted to sports enthusiasts, who will be able to venture out among the vineyards and hills by trekking and following itineraries on foot, by bicycle or on horseback, as well as to families, who will have the opportunity to enjoy playful initiatives and picnics in nature.

There is then no better opportunity to get lost among the many places of historical interest, castles, monasteries and museums that dot the Strada del Franciacorta where art lovers will be spoiled for choice among charming villages, abbeys and villas surrounded by greenery.

A rich proposal, which attracts more and more visitors from all over Italy and the world, for whom ad hoc tourist packages have been designed with proposals for weekend stays in combinations of all kinds among wineries, farmhouses, hotels, restaurants and trattorias.

Of course, the primary focus will be the wineries, which have created original and imaginative events for their guests.
