The third weekend in September will be dedicated to an all-round celebration of Franciacorta: two days devoted to learning not only about wine but also about the innermost secrets of a region that has dedicated itself entirely to food and wine and high-level hospitality.

Among the activities featured there will be plenty of winery visits complete with tastings, gala dinners, picnics in the vineyards, and vertical tastings of vintage Franciacorta.

For lovers of sports and adventure, the Festival offers horseback riding, bicycle tours, and treasure hunts among the vineyards, just to name a few.

Discovering More of the Franciacorta

Good food and drink will also be a key feature of the festival with Franciacorta’s restaurateurs, who will be ready to accompany guests on evocative and inviting gastronomic itineraries based on traditional local products paired with Franciacorta wines in their various types and expressions.

This year also marks the naming of both Brescia and Bergamo as Italian Capital of Culture. Located in the province of Brescia, the Franciacorta will be showcasing the immense centuries-old heritage on which its foundations are built. The area’s museums will be ready to welcome a national and international audience, with the support of tour guides available to organize customized tours.

lso returning will be the Bus Tours offering an innovative format: both Saturday and Sunday there will be departures from Brescia, Bergamo, Milan, and Rovato. Each tour will offer routes composed of visits to wineries and sites of historical and cultural interest.
