Lucente is the new design lighting project created by Gupica for Visionnaire, the Bologna-based meta-luxury star of Italian interior design known for its incomparable ability to respond to the desires of its clients and its distinctive style, based on lively experimentation on materials, volumes of unexpected poise and inimitable motifs that reveal the totally Italian background of the company.

The designer, Gunilla Zamboni – whose company is her brand and artistic identity, has collaborated once again with the Italian brand to create a collection inspired by the way light splits and reflects on the faceted surfaces of precious stones, creating mesmerizing luminous effects. The evocative pieces are unique expressions of an artistic vision capable of capturing the imagination with the allure of light and form.
The light-diffusing bodies of the lamps, which look like coloured gemstones in sophisticated yet simple shapes, are made of a secondary raw material obtained via the recycling of PMMA – commonly known as Plexiglass – reinterpreted with a completely new appearance.
The opaqued LED light source, passing through the stones, produces a diffused light that brings out transparency and colours, and a unique graduated appearance – a beam of light that radiates in the room in a dynamic chromatic spectrum.
