Park Hyatt Milano, the exclusive 5-star luxury hotel located in the historic heart of Milan just a stone’s throw from the Duomo, has recently inaugurated a new and exclusive installation involving the public areas of the hotel that will be available until the end of September.
The unparalleled beauty of Capri, recognized throughout the world, becomes the main inspiration for the new layout that dresses Park Hyatt Milan. A concept designed to offer guests of the facility a moment of escape to experience and enjoy the unique atmosphere that can only be found on Capri.
Mio Lab Milan
To emphasize this evocative setting, Park Hyatt Milano’s cocktail bar, Mio Lab, is launching two new signature cocktails that enhance the unique flavors of Capri. Perfect for a summer aperitif, the two new proposals take inspiration from the island not only in their ingredients but also in their names.
50 Special, a Collins-based gin flavored with saffron, lemon, rosemary syrup, almond bitters, and soda is the proposal for a fresh, bold cocktail.
Faraglioni is a sparkling drink inspired by the three rock formations located southeast of the world-famous island of Capri. A cocktail made with Campari, raspberry, vanilla, and Franciacorta, it represents Mio Lab’s offering for those seeking an enveloping taste with character.
Cocktails in Milan: Park Hyatt Milano’s Capri-Inspired Summer
The Capri theme set-up involves the structure starting from the facade and entrance of the hotel, the common areas including La Cupola Lounge and Mio Lab cocktail bar touched with typical Capri colors, scents, and decorations.
The design was created by taking inspiration from the characteristic colors reminiscent of the island of Capri: yellow, white, blue, and azure are the protagonists through the inclusion of new furniture and decorative elements.
Special attention was paid to all the floral decorations, entirely taken care of by Anna Flower Designer, who for the occasion created compositions and arrangements in line with the theme.
Bougainvillea, citrus plants, and lemon trees decorate Park Hyatt Milano creating a striking visual effect in many corners of the hotels.
Decorative elements and new furnishings enrich the spaces: an original vintage Vespa reminiscent of some of the most iconic scenes from important Italian films set on the beautiful island of Capri itself is positioned inside the structure, a cart set up with lemons and available to offer slushies, handcrafted ceramic vases decorated with white and blue motifs, and handmade baskets and vases containing lemons enrich every corner of the hotel.
At the Cupola Lounge, tables have new guises: classic ceramic Capri bells and vases of lemons are arranged on the tables for a mise en place perfectly in keeping with the new theme. In addition, to offer its guests a complete journey into the atmosphere of Capri, traditional Caprese dishes have been included in the menu.
