Amici Vignaioli: Loving Wine in Maremma

Poggio Cagnano, the Manciano winery, is celebrating summer together with other producers for an evening of good wine together with some of the best and alternative wineries in Tuscany and Veneto: “Amici Vignaioli in Maremma” will be held on July 11.

The event will be staged at the Manciano Estate, and the tasting counter, open to wine professionals, wine lovers and enthusiasts, will be the star of the evening, accompanied by live jazz music and tasty cheeses and products from the Il Radichino Estate and the Aia della Colonna organic farmhouse.

Poggio Cagnano: the importance of networking

Poggio Cagnano will host several Tuscan producers for the occasion: Altura, Ampeleia, Antonio Camillo, Formiche Vini, Malgiacca, La Maliosa, Podere Fedespina, Podere Riparbella, Ranchelle, Val di Buri and Castello Tricerchi. Alongside them are wineries from the Veneto region including: Filippi, Garganuda, Montegoggio, Musella, Menti, Matteo Rigoni and Morra Gabriele.

The goal is to try to network between realities that share the same values, in the vineyard and in the cellar, to give even smaller and lesser-known producers the opportunity to present themselves alongside better-known wineries. – explains Alessandro Gobbetti, owner of Poggio Cagnano and organizer of the event – We would like to bring some novelty to the local wine and food scene by proposing alternative labels that deserve to be known.
