Design, Technology, Style and Sustainability are the main themes of the new collections and designs that Falper – with its long-established tradition of producing sophisticated furnishings for the bathroom – is presenting at Falper Flagship Store Milano.
The brand highlights its latest creations for baths and kitchens at the location in Via Pontaccio 10, in the heart of the Brera district. The two-level showroom, staged by Bruno Tarsia, expresses the company’s philosophy of minimalist design, the pursuit of the finest, most innovative materials and consummate handcraftsmanship.
Small Living Kitchens™
The sophisticated designer kitchens and masterful workmanship of Small Living Kitchens™, created especially for prestigious small homes, is now extended to indispensable functional elements like tables and snack bars, built of composite wood and available in Falper finishes. Andrea Federici designed the new elements, focusing on a perfect fusion of style and function. The tables seem to emerge from the Islands like natural appendages, while the snack bars are suspended in mid-air thanks to a system of stainless-steel brackets hidden within the thickness of the surface.
Another new element is a system that allows all of the Falper kitchen Islands to be positioned against walls. Andrea Federici created a junction element with specific functional features, in stainless steel with parts in solid walnut that give it the versatility to stand alone or be placed against a wall. The tables have space for two or four people, like the snack bars. The Islands’ wall placement system adapts in width to the size of the Islands themselves – 120, 150 or 180 cm.
“Falper Small Living Kitchens™ is a unique system designed to meet the need for kitchens in prestigious small apartments, in particular with regard to the size of the products and the qualitative details. It’s something that’s never been available before on the market. Thanks to Federici’s expertise and guidance as designer and our technical skills and implementation, we managed to integrate the concept we had in mind with the demands of the kitchen. It couldn’t have been done any other way for such an innovative kitchen, designed with the minimalist aesthetic that is Falper’s hallmark,” comments Luca Fallavena, CEO of Falper.
Small Living KitchensTM by Andrea Federici have been selected for the EDIDA 2023 in the “Kitchen” category. The 21st edition of the Elle DECO International Design Awards will recognise the best talents and designs of 2022, chosen by editors from the 25 editions of Elle Decoration around the world, with an invitation-only awards ceremony to be held on April 19 during Milano Design Week 2023.
