From Meraviglioso in Porto Cervo to Forte Village in Santa Margherita di Pula, Ristorante Berton’s cuisine lands in Sardinia.
With the arrival of the summer season, Michelin-starred chef Andrea Berton‘s fine cuisine will take center stage in Sardinia, from the Costa Smeralda to Santa Margherita di Pula.
Beginning on June 18th in Porto Cervo with Meraviglioso, the new flagship of the 5 Club proposal captained by entrepreneurs Andrea Baccuini and Giacomo Sonzini, visitors will find a perfect fusion of summer vibes, music and fine dining in the heart of Porto Cervo’s Promenade du Port, completed by the culinary signature of Chef Berton.
The new format will consist of two areas each characterized by two different cooking styles: the more casual and laid-back Piazzetta and the more formal and sophisticated Terrace.
Among the star dishes will be the Tagliatelle di Calamaro, Gazpacho and Amaranth Popcorn, the Fregola alle Erbe, Gamberi e Limone and the Banana, Arachidi e Sorbetto al Cacao e Cardamomo, preparations that enhance traditional Italian recipes revisited with a contemporary twist.
Instead, from July 25the to August 21st, Chef Berton and his team’s association with Forte Village in Santa Margherita di Pula, in the province of Cagliari, will be renewed at Forte Bay, a restaurant with a terrace that offers resort guests a breathtaking view of the Sardinian sea.
Here it will be possible to taste dishes such as Shrimp Salad with Almonds and Raspberries, Spaghetti alla Chitarra with lukewarm Raw Tomato, Olives and Basil, and the Lobster with Daikon, Papaya and Coconut.
“It is a great honor for me to join the new ambitious project of 5 Club. After the wonderful winter season at Super G, I am proud to land in the Costa Smeralda and open the Meraviglioso. Together with my brigade we will bring current, immediate and fresh cuisine to Promenade di Port. It will be an intense summer for me and my team, which will continue at Forte Village by following up on a project I care a lot about that began in 2016,” Chef Berton concludes.
