Architectural Kitchen: ONE by Ernestomeda Redefines Domestic Space

Responsive to modern residential rituals, architectural kitchen introduce versatile compositions and seamless spatial dialogues.

The ONE system interprets evolving domestic habits, translating diverse living rituals into curated atmospheres and flexible compositions. Modular elements navigate varied aesthetic registers while preserving uncompromising architectural clarity and material coherence. Eliminating rigid partitions, the cooking environment interfaces directly with surrounding living areas, establishing an uninterrupted visual and spatial continuity.

Developed by Ernestomeda’s internal R&D division, the programme builds upon specialized Italian manufacturing expertise established in Montelabbate since 1996. Backed by certified production standards—including UNI 11674 Italian furniture origin alongside ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 accreditations—the 121-strong workforce operates across an expansive 32,000-square-meter facility, bridging industrial-scale precision with bespoke interior tailoring.

Material Interplay and Monolithic Volumetries

Rigorous geometric lines define the central island surfaced in Matte CrystalTouch Grain with matching lacquered plinths and recessed handles. Acting simultaneously as an operational workstation and a welcoming anchor for social interaction, the volume incorporates the cantilevered Twist snack countertop in Core Island Grey lacquer, introducing an informal dining dimension while lending deliberate visual lightness to the stone-topped mass of polished Rolec Grey marble.

A calculated dialogue between tactile textures shapes the spatial character. Polished mineral surfaces encounter matte technical treatments, staging an expressive contrast between pale bases and deep perimeter volumes. Framing the room, 247-centimeter-high In Space tall units in Burnt Earth Flamed Hi-Melamine introduce rich chromatic depth, pairing natural stone warmth with advanced composite engineering.

Meticulous detailing maintains compositional coherence across the layout. Resting directly upon the stone worktop, a vertical sail cabinet pairs a Matte CrystalTouch Grain door with Burnt Earth Flamed side cladding and optional integrated LED illumination, reinforcing material continuity. Extending toward open lounge areas, a low open-end module features matching flamed melamine shelving elevated by front-facing leather storage drawers, skillfully alternating solid mass and empty volume to soften the perimeter edge.

Architectural Portals and Dual Culinary Zones

Monolithic cabinetry in Burnt Earth Flamed Hi-Melamine assumes the structural role of a partition wall. Flush elevations incorporate the Invisible Pass system operated by full-length lacquered Tube profiles, opening a discreet portal into the adjacent culinary annex to unify both zones within a continuous spatial grid.

Inside the secondary culinary annex, compact proportions balance operational rigor with refined detailing. Base modules in Beige Phoenix Hi-Melamine feature Lucem-painted recessed handles and plinths beneath an ample 65-centimeter-deep worktop and splash panel in Stone+ Agra with a tactile Leather finish. Overhead, a single 240-centimeter All-in-One wall unit echoes the Beige Phoenix tone, set against full-height boiserie paneling in Burnt Earth Flamed melamine to maintain visual consistency across both cooking stations.
