Cantina di Riva di Agraria Riva del Garda, after months of study and with the support of designer Mario Di Paolo, presented the restyling of the Brezza Riva line.
The first reference to present itself to the market with the completely renewed look is the sparkling wine Brezza Riva Riserva 2019.
Agraria Riva del Garda, the historical cooperative society of Alto Garda Trentino to which Cantina di Riva belongs, has announced the complete restyling of the Brezza Riva line by launching on the market the spumante Brezza Riva Riserva 2019 Pas Dosé with a completely new look.
Brezza Riva Classic Method Trentodoc
Brezza Riva is the Trentodoc Classical Method sparkling wine line that celebrates the winemaking tradition of its territory of origin and is characterized by wines with distinct refinement and authenticity. The line includes Brezza Riva Riserva Pas Dosé, Brezza Riva Brut and Brezza Riva Millesimato Brut sparkling wines.
The study and conception of the new packaging was entrusted to wine designer and photographer Mario Di Paolo, founder of the Spazio Di Paolo hub. The decision was made to change the shape of the bottle, create a more eye-catching label and distinguish chromatically the neck dressing. The new label foregrounds the cooperative’s greatest resource, namely the Alto Garda Trentino territory.
Specifically, that of Brezza Riva Riserva shows a glimpse of Lake Garda made with a blue metal foil, while the reliefs are made with laminated textured papers, one of the hallmarks of Mario Di Paolo’s creativity. The gilded foil stamp, depicting the Bastion of Riva del Garda and placed at the end of the octanium-green capsule, repeats the figure already on the label of Brezza Riva Brut bottles.
It is therefore a complete restyling, capable of enhancing the product to the fullest, which will be extended, gradually in the coming months, to Cantina di Riva’s entire line of sparkling wines.
Brezza Riva Riserva 2019 Pas Dosé is a Metodo Classico Trentodoc sparkling wine made from Chardonnay grapes. The must, made from grapes harvested by hand and subjected to a soft pressing, undergoes alcoholic fermentation partly in stainless steel tanks and partly, for an amount equal to 20%, in French oak barrels.
Maturing on its lees for just over thirty-six months before disgorging, Brezza Riva Riserva 2019 is distinguished by its pale straw yellow color, whose hues reflect its excellent integrity, and a very fine and persistent perlage. On the nose, it is fragrant with a wide range of olfactory sensations that distinguish its elegance. The taste, on the other hand, is full, with an acid plug that gives structure and verticality, as well as persistence and harmony.
Characteristics, these, that make it ideal when paired with dishes such as a citrus-flavored fish tartare or single-grain spaghetti with trout roe and chili-flavored oil.
