Autumn at Villa Terzaghi

Tradition and innovation remain the cornerstones of the philosophy of Villa Terzaghi, home of the educational restaurant promoted by the Maestro Martino Association chaired by Chef Carlo Cracco, which for 11 years has been fostering future generations of restauranteurs through training. This will also be the case for next fall’s calendar of events, which promises to be full of novelties.

A Full Schedule of Events

This autumn the Villa will be the scene of a series of events that began on Tuesday, Sept. 27 and Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2022, when the beautiful 18th-century villa in Robecco sul Naviglio (MI) hosted the Northern Selection of the 2022 Edition of Emergente Chef and Emergente Pizza, a format that has included a series of competitions dedicated to the various sectors of the restaurant and hospitality industry. In nearly 20 years of competitions, Emergente has launched many talents who have now become undisputed stars of the industry, as was also the case during this new edition. Villa Terzaghi‘s Resident Chef Federico Urbani is among the participants in the competition.

In addition to the proposal of the Villa Terzaghi restaurant, there are the “special dinners,” which have now become the most anticipated event for the public. On October 31st, there will be a special celebration of the mystery holiday par excellence when Halloween comes to Villa Terzaghi with a themed menu specially designed by the kitchen brigades.

The Arrival of the Chef Ambassadors at Villa Terzaghi

Meanwhile, November will see the renewal of appointments with Cook&Chef Institute’s Chef Ambassadors, who will be visiting Villa Terzaghi to teach their techniques to students and organize a star-studded dinner open to the public. Then, on the evening of November 19th, a menu designed and curated by chef, gastronome and writer Gianfranco Vissani will be offered – a unique opportunity to enjoy an exclusive experience in contact with a prominent chef with his unique culinary flair.

Then, in late fall, it will be the turn to start diving into winter inspirations with the launch of the Panettone Academy Award, the only biennial international competition exclusively dedicated to schools and academies around the world, aimed at promoting Panettone internationally through future generations of chefs and pastry chefs.

Associazione Maestro Martino for the Love of Panettone

The launch of the project promoted by Associazione Maestro Martino is scheduled to take place in Milan in November 2022 on the occasion of the third edition of the Panettone World Cup, the official partner of the competition.

The main objective of the competition is the promotion of Italian-made culinary culture around the world through future generations of chefs and pastry chefs. The event turns the spotlight on an authentic and iconic product of Lombardy’s food heritage -the Panettone, by addressing schools and academies that promote gastronomic culture in the world and forge future generations of professional
