The Allure of Points of Light: Comet by Fabbian

An extremely versatile lighting design solution especially because of its essential shape, which makes it able to adapt to any configuration: Comet, designed by Signorotto+Partners for Fabbian.

The shape itself, in fact, lends itself to being fixed to the wall in single or group and with a variable tilt orientation that emphasizes its lines, creating light effects with a discreet presence.

The combination of glass and metal, the small footprint on the wall and the finishes offered make Comet a lighting creation with an absolutely contemporary allure.

Comet by Fabbian draws inspiration from the astronomical phenomenon whose name it bears and is made up of two elements: the point of light that evokes the nucleus of a comet and the elongated lampshade that recalls the luminous tail of one of the most characteristic and fascinating celestial bodies.

The light, thus directed, forms a delicate trail and gives the room a soft, enveloping lighting effect. It is ideal for public environments such as stores or waiting rooms, but also for private settings such as hotel rooms or living rooms with minimalist design.

The diffuser is a blown glass sphere that is wrapped in a U-shaped shade of aluminum painted anthracite, white, bronze, royal gold or Corten. The light source is a high-efficiency, dimmable phase-cut G9 LED bulb.

With Comet, Fabbian shows its ability to skillfully combine glass, a historical material, with new materials that give it value.
