Eco-Tourism at Casa di Langa
The Casa di Langa project in the Alta Langa was developed according to an architectural design that respects the surrounding natural landscape and is inspired by a philosophy of sustainability applied to every single structural and functional aspect of the hotel. From the “carbon neutral” commitment to the use of 100% recycled water for irrigation, to the geothermal and photovoltaic systems functional for heating, and PV cells. The project also incorporates solar panels, the use of wood with the FSC environmental certification, high performance windows, and even the operational goal of zeroing the use of disposable plastic generally used for accessories for guests. Casa di Langa aims at respecting the natural context it is set in.
The Casa di Langa Resort
There are 39 rooms and suites in the resort, all with terraces and furnished with design elements in soft, warm colors that reflect those of the surrounding nature. Inside the rooms, there is a relaxation area and a bathroom with invigorating rain showers and relaxing Le Labo bath products. The large outdoor swimming pool offers spectacular views of the surrounding hills, while the charming Lelòse Spa, the hotel’s wellness center, offers therapies made with natural products. The Restaurant of Casa di Langa
Overlooking the vineyards, is the Fàula restaurant, led by the young and talented chef Daniel Zeilinga, who takes care of the catering offer at 360 degrees, from breakfast to after dinner drinks. A contemporary cuisine that focuses on the best raw materials of the territory. While at the Sorì Cocktail Bar on the upper floor, comfortable sofas and a wooden bar welcome guests for drinks and mixology experiences that speak at the same time of Alta Langa and international lifestyle.

Dedicated to the resort’s guests, the experiences offered by Casa di Langa are true journeys of discovery through the Alta Langa, one of Italy’s unspoilt areas, where nature is not overtaken by the hand of man, but rather respected and cared for. During your stay in Alta Langa, the structure offers unforgettable moments, such as visits on Vespa to the surrounding historical vineyards, cinema under the stars, white and black truffle hunting; but also fun practical cooking classes and Wine Academy tastings in the cellar of Fàula restaurant.
The Vegetable Garden and the Green Menu of Casa di Langa
Next to the structure, inside the property, there is a biodynamic vegetable garden cared for by gardener Luigi Merlo and chef Daniel Zeilinga himself. Their own commitment to sustaining eco-tourism. Here different varieties of vegetables, flowers and herbs, ancient seeds, different varieties of tomatoes and cabbage have been planted. Next to the vegetable garden, there is a greenhouse for more delicate plants, mostly aromatic. These two dedicated points serve three departments of the structure, the Sorì Cocktail Bar that uses herbs and flowers for infusions and drinks, the Spa that prepares aromatized waters and infusions with them and, finally, the Fàula. Here the chef has studied an entirely green menu, dedicated to the precious raw materials of the garden, managing to create dishes of incredible delicacy, at the center of which are the resort’s homegrown vegetables.
