A picturesque setting, a fabulous space, and an elegant style make up this location in the captivating cultural mecca of Florence, where Officine Gullo designs true kitchen inspiration. In the heart of Florence’s historic center, just a few steps from Ponte Vecchio and Piazza della Signoria, an elegant apartment overlooks one of the city’s most characteristic places, the Loggia del Mercato Nuovo; and inside, functioning as the beating heart of the living space, is a complete tailor-crafted Italian kitchen by Officine Gullo.
Officine Gullo Rendez Vous in Florence
The tones chosen to characterize the furnishings of this kitchen project by Officine Gullo are a refined matte Blue-Grey (RAL 7031) with burnished brass finishes – colors and materials that manage to harmoniously dialogue with the architecture and furnishings.
Cooking zone of variable dimensions
The cooking block is the Fiorentina 90 model, which, with its six burners of varying sizes, all in double brass with massive professional cast-iron grates, ensures quality and performance for cooking aficionados.
Its details are those typical of luxury design, starting with the elegant and solid brass knobs, the touch display, and the three points with halogen lights for perfect oven lighting. The electric multifunction oven has an extra-large capacity (161 liters), and is equipped with dual ventilation for the best heat distribution.
Vacuum system with differentiated dimensions
Above the cooking area a tall pyramid hood captures the eye with a height that makes it particularly suitable for rooms with very tal ceilings, as in this case. In fact, Officine Gullo hoods are adaptable to any height thanks to the “veil” cladding system that hides the flue by covering it up to the ceiling.
Integrated washing area
In the washing area, illuminated by natural light from the window, the steel undermount sink integrates and disappears inside the marble worktop, elegantly highlighting the sharpness of the lines. Completing the washing area is a single lever mixer with an exclusive design inspired by the nautical world. If in boats the control lever manages the boat’s engine, in this mixer the control lever acquires a new role, which is to choose the water temperature.
Located under the top are a series of drawers, cabinets, and the dishwasher, while the back work is presented in a tempered bronze glass that creates an intriguing mirrorlike effect. Across from this area is the refrigerator-freezer with three 90cm wide doors, and then two columns for storage use. The area is completed with with glass cupboards featuring carefully chosen internal lighting.
