Molto at the Borghese Gallery

A new restaurant in the evocative spaces of one of the capital’s most beautiful museums: Molto alla Galleria Borghese opens in Rome, a new initiative signed by the consolidated catering brand Molto Italiano.

After the extensive work campaign that involved the spaces of the Roman museum, which began in February 2020, the bar-bistrot service was entrusted to the gastronomic format, an appreciated reference point in the capital.

From breakfast to snacks and aperitifs, the restaurant offers a menu aimed at both Italian and international customers: each proposal is the result of a constant search for new combinations, always inspired by freshness and seasonality, to enhance the flavours of healthy and tasty cuisine.

The high quality of Molto Italiano’s products is selected according to the DOP and IGP marks and most of the vegetables come from the company’s own garden, located in the Lazio countryside, to guarantee an ethical and sustainable supply chain with products at Km0.

The key point of the gastronomic offer is the variety of the proposal, which changes every month and begins with breakfast, which presents a selection of leavened products such as brioche and muffins, up to the part of biscuits to accompany tea, herbal tea, and coffee. The savoury offer is characterised by focacce, maritozzi, croissants with butter to be filled with cold meats, cheese, or vegetables.

Lunch, on the other hand, features starters, first courses, main courses and desserts: from Fassona beef tartare to veal meatballs alla cacciatora with olives and capers, then a veg version of Fregola, Gnocchetti alla Sorrentina, Fratelli Spanu saffron rice with Gerardo di Nola tomatoes and Cabras roe, as well as a roast beef club sandwich.

As far as desserts are concerned, we can already inaugurate the season of strawberries with cream topping. Each item has four references, among which there is always a special first course of the day, or alternatively, you can opt for a fresh salad. The menu is also personalised by the house wine, the Molto Rosso Pinot Nero dell’Oltrepò Pavese, produced in collaboration with the Conte Vistarino winery.

In this exceptional location, visitors can also organise a private picnic in the wonderful park of Villa Borghese; a perfect place to enjoy a meal in the green with Molto’s take-away BOXes, whose packaging is carefully designed with ecological and biodegradable materials.

Molto at Galleria Borghese presents itself as an environment with particular attention to detail, realised in collaboration with SchönhuberFranchi, a company from Bolzano, the leader in the sector of contract furniture and table decoration for the high-level hotel and restaurant industry.
