A magic sideboard and a planetary lamp: these are the novelties created by Ronda Design that will be featured at the upcoming Salone del Mobile Milan – the highly anticipated Milan Furniture Fair held every year.
Zea Ronda Design: the magic sideboard
Gino Carollo has designed the Zea sideboard for the brand, a complement that evokes a classic of furniture tradition revisited in a contemporary key.
Zea, or goddess of magic, is a metal sideboard with freely applicable magnetic handles that move on the doors accordant to tastes and needs thanks to its very precise magnetics – making Zea a multi-faceted element capable of changing appearance as if by magic. Circular or semicircular in shape and inclined, the handles can be positioned in the center or on the edge of the door, singly or in pairs, specular or asymmetrical, giving rise to unique and ever-changing arrangements.
Available in the classic rectangular version with two side compartments and a capacious central double compartment, or in the version that develops in height counter/sideboard with three compartments, Zea features crystal shelves and metal feet with a rounded shape.
Meticulous attention to detail and a wide range of colors make Zea an elegant and versatile piece of furniture that captures attention. The finishes (Embossed White, Embossed Black, Embossed Graphite, Embossed Titanium, Embossed Copper, Embossed Brass, Embossed Green, Embossed Turtledove, Embossed Light Blue, Hemp, Earth, Brick, Pistachio, Sage, Burnished Copper), in particular, allow for an interplay of color combinations and gradations between doors and handles that enhance Zea’s refined overall design.
Saturn Ronda Design: a planetary lamp.
Designed by Studio 28, the Saturn rechargeable table lamp is inspired by the ringed planet of the same name. Decorated in metal with an LED light sphere, its original structure consisting of a ring and underlying cylinder recalls the curvilinear design language of Ronda Design’s new collection.
And just as Saturn reflects the light of the sun, the LED sphere sparkles brightly giving precious luminous atmospheres to rooms, for living rooms, studios or bedrooms with an exquisitely contemporary tone.
With a warm light (3000 K) adjustable to up to four different intensities, Saturn has a battery life of about 15 hours. Practical and versatile without sacrificing exclusive design, thanks to the increasingly popular rechargeable technology, the lamp can be freely moved as needed without the encumbrance of wires and cables.
