The Venetian coast as a taste destination with Taste Jesolo

Relaunching Jesolo in terms of food and wine: this is the goal of Taste Jesolo, the project of the JesoloVenice Consortium of tourism companies presented today at a press conference at Vinitaly 2022.

A campaign to promote the gourmet side of one of the most famous Venetian seaside resorts, through communication actions and the launch of an event dedicated to taste lovers in collaboration with Hostaria Verona and Consorzio Asolo Prosecco.

Focus is on restaurants and local food products, which together make up a varied and high-profile offer, still little known by fans, but able to show one of the most dynamic faces of the local tourism sector.

“In recent years Jesolo’s restaurants have been able to grow in level and differentiate their offer,” says the president of the JesoloVenice Consortium of tourism businesses, Luigi Pasqualinotto. “With Taste Jesolo we want to spread the knowledge of Jesolo’s food and wine excellence, to attract visitors interested in experiencing the area beyond the beach and the summer season, deepening their knowledge of local products and realities. A strategic choice that aims at a more seasonally adjusted tourism, from which all the actors of the territory can benefit.”

Among the actions foreseen by the Taste Jesolo project, a large-scale digital promotion campaign in co-branding with Consorzio Asolo Prosecco, through video content, images and stories involving the chefs and patrons of 11 Jesolo restaurants, including Michelangelo, I Barbabolle, Da Guido, Jolà, Rossi Restaurant, Al Traghetto, Al Torcio, Da Omar, Flora, Amarmio and Terrazzamare.

As far as Taste Jesolo events are concerned, from Friday 27th to Sunday 29th May, the first edition of StreetWineJesolo will take place, bringing the scents and flavours of the excellent wines of the North-East through the streets and squares of the seaside resort. 24 wineries from Veneto and Friuli Venezia Giulia and a stand signed Consorzio Asolo Prosecco for a total of about 200 labels for tasting. An event realized in collaboration with the cultural association Hostaria Verona and dedicated to the lovers of taste.
