Thus, the brand’s expansion continues, with 50 Kalò Roma joining 50 Kalò Napoli, 50 Kalò London, and both 50 Panino and 50 Suite also in Naples, altogether employing more than 150 people between Italy and England.

50 Kalò Roma

“The idea to open in Rome first emerged in February 2021, when even in the midst of restrictions and uncertainties we never stopped, We decided to look ahead, to invest and build again,” declares Ciro Salvo. “For months we have been receiving proposals for openings all over the world but, for us, establishing a new 50 Kalò does not mean simply opening a place anywhere, but transferring the identity, the soul of the project that has so many nuances.”

“50 Kalò is not merely a sign but is the materialization of years of research, expertise and experience gained in the field,” Salvo continues. “I am a perfectionist, which is why every opening is meticulously studied and all the premises are managed entirely by us. Success cannot be achieved without hard work, and without sacrifice it is impossible to build.”

A Special Location

On Via Flavia No. 3, in one of the most eclectic and well-known areas of the capital, 50 Kalò Roma boasts both indoor and outdoor spaces and two ovens for pizzas.

The architectural design of the venue was interpreted by architect Maurizio Vesce, who has well-captured the concept of the brand: essential, elegant and recognizable. Large windows, rooms separated by vaults with golden profiles, textured tops and fine materials connote the spaces and seating. At the center of the premises are two wood-burning ovens lined with red tiles, as in the pizzerias of Naples and London. The work counter is also made of marble in the Neapolitan tradition.

Wine and Dine with Ciro Salvo’s Creativity

The menu offerings of 50 Kalò Roma focus on Ciro Salvo’s iconic pizzas, which are light and digestible, made from 100% southern Italian flours and with the best raw materials. There is also no shortage of the famous fritti.

The wine list will also be in line with the Naples location and includes a selection of the best labels from Campania, some also by the glass, because, notes Salvo, “I want to enhance all the best that my territory offers. Some labels of sparkling wines and champagnes complete the proposal, because a bubbly in a pizzeria should never be missing, in fact, a Franciacorta will also be available by the glass.” A selection of strictly craft beers complete the beverage offer.
