Lalique’s Crystal Architecture Collection by Zaha Hadid

Flowing lines and minerals inspired by nature: Crystal Architecture Collection for Lalique by Zaha Hadid Architects showcases the work of a renowned architect and designer, pairing it with the unparalleled talent of expert glassmakers. This collection is a flow of aesthetic artistry masterfully created.

Our collaboration with Zaha Hadid began in 2014 – explains Silvio Denz, Chairman and CEO Lalique – with the creation of the Visio and Manifesto vases, two exceptional works of art that marked the birth of the Crystal Architecture Collection. – This collection was born out of a passion for beauty, a quest for excellence, and a desire to combine the experience of our master glassmakers with the creativity and rare talent of a world-renowned architect and designer. She was a pioneering figure in the world of architecture, the first woman to win the Pritzker Architecture Prize. Zaha Hadid’s death on March 31, 2016 was a cause for immense sadness. Considered one of the great architects of her time, she created works that shaped and transformed spaces and landscapes around the world. Zaha Hadid and her architectural legacy will continue to inspire generations to come, and Lalique is truly honored to have had the opportunity to work with this exceptional artist.”

The Manifesto vase reflects the language of experimentation and the search for fluidity and transparency through the medium of crystal. Fluid lines that seem to come alive characterize each piece, embellished with Lalique’s signature contrasting satin and polished finishes.

The Visio vase expresses Hadid’s typical deconstructivist approach with its fluid lines that give an impression of lightness to her creations. Like a crystal tower, the lines of the vase rise upwards in an almost infinite movement. Satin and polished crystal, both emblematic of lalique, are perfectly suited to the aesthetics of the piece, illuminated by the brilliance of clear crystal or sublimated by the deep mystery of black crystal.

Fontana, on the other hand, expresses the powerful dynamism of water, embodying the continuity and rhythms of moving waves, thanks to the delicate undulations that envelop the surface.

The collection is presented in Clear Crystal, black, fuchsia and Midnight Blue shades.
