The New Aesthetics of Frame Kitchen by Fantin

The Frame Kitchen from Fantin is enriched with a refined matching etched glass top and a suction shelf by Falmec.

The celebrated workstation kitchen from Fantin’s Frame collection, a multi-year program designed by Salvatore Indriolo that was launched in 2018 and has since been expanded thanks to multiple typological, chromatic and detail additions, now comes in a new guise, with a completely tone-on-tone aesthetic, thanks to a new etched glass top in matching colors.

An elegant and refined finish that returns a satin, soft-touch surface that is easy to clean and durable. Available for both workstation models (two modules L 128 cm and three modules L 188 cm), the new glass top thus allows for the monochrome that was already inherent in the designer’s own idea.

“Since the beginning of my collaboration with Fantin ten years ago, I have applied monochromaticism in the aesthetic design of all the collections. The wide Fantin palette has thus become over the years more and more identifiable and decisive in making each product transversal and suitable for every context. – says Salvatore Indriolo. – In 2018 the Frame Kitchen with a steel top was presented as an exception to this rule, because it was functional and chromatically neutral, thus ideal to any color variation of the bases.

At that time it was premature to apply monochromaticism, as a second material with such a wide range – 35 finishes – would have been imprudent. Today, after five years and thanks to the huge commercial success, there was a desire to reunite Frame Kitchen with one of the aesthetic cornerstones of all Fantin collections, thanks to the monochrome dialogue between metal and glass. A new offering, which complements the established one with steel tops.”

The Fantin kitchen world is also enriched by Falmec‘s new Shelf hood, also available in the brand’s 35 shades, thus completing the range of accessories and appliances signed by prestigious brands in the sector such as Barazza, AEG and Electrolux.

The furnishings in the Frame collection are distinguished by solid frames made of square tubing and always in view, as if to pay homage to the frame as such and to the metal itself that makes it up, which represents the soul of Fantin, a leading company in the processing of this material for more than 50 years.

Fantin has traced a strong evolution in recent years thanks to the collaboration with Salvatore Indriolo, the brand’s Art Director and designer of the Frame program, who designed the collection by identifying three simple rules: all frames, always made of square tubing, allow the design of orthogonal structures that give the possibility of creating any product: from the table to the sideboard, from the kitchen to the mirrors; the vertical elements (doors, drawers, sides and backs) are in the light and flush with the frame; the horizontal elements (table tops and kitchen tops) rest on top of the frame, leaving the latter always in view.

All this without forgetting the sustainability that Fantin products guarantee in all respects: respect for the environment is of primary importance and is achieved thanks to the use of 100% recyclable metal, and cutting-edge production technologies such as the painting plant, which uses only non-toxic paints free of heavy metals and allows for less consumption of powder paint thanks to an innovative internal recycling system.
