Fratelli Boffi’s mastery and eclectic charm make a surprising and unprecedented appearance at the Salone del Mobile 2024.

Both of these brands exhibit the unique ability to reinterpret and honor cultural, artisanal, and artistic heritage through design, a skill demonstrated through the Fabula project.
The continuous tension between past and present is narrated in a new collection of products, coming together in a space that represents the intention to reverse the logical order of a narrative. Fabula combines the strong traditional feel typical of Fratelli Boffi’s workmanship with the contemporary, architectural design approach of storagemilano, resulting in a warm and welcoming yet muted space, evoking a homey atmosphere for the visitor.
The stand inside the Salone del Mobile will be the stage for the presentation of the new 2024 product collection, offering food for thought on the importance of valuing cultural heritage and collective memory through creativity and design.
In anticipation of the collection, Fratelli Boffi presents the Archi table, a monumental piece covered entirely in inlaid oak root, born from the meeting of classic architectural forms of arches and cross vaults with the tradition of the noble workmanship of cabinetmaking.
The base, composed of six legs that draw a series of arches, not only performs the function of supporting the top but becomes an allusion to past eras: a microarchitecture in the product itself.
The rectangular top, dry and austere in its geometry, is embellished with a hammered inlay in dark heat-treated that mimics the design of the architectural base in two dimensions. Archi as a whole is a tribute to the culture of design and wisdom of Italian manufacturing, where ideas merge with technique as a testimony to the unique mastery typical of our heritage.
An authentic blend of craftsmanship and design, Archi is not just a piece of furniture but a celebration of Italian architecture in miniature form, overcoming the simple functionality of the object and becoming a symbol of beauty and historical memory. The Salone del Mobile once again becomes the main stage where the company displays its ironic vision of luxury, decoration, and contemporary living, through storytelling made of unexpected lines, precious materials, and careful attention to detail.
During the Salone del Mobile, furnishings by Fratelli Boffi will also show in the L’appartamento by Artemest. This elegant 1930s-style mansion is located in a historic building in the heart of Milan’s 5 Vie district and here is reinterpreted by six prestigious international interior design studios. Among these, the London-based studio Elicyon specialized in luxury residential interior design, the Arab studio Meshary AinAssar specialized in residential and contract interior design, and the American architectural firm Rotten Studio, which has selected products from Lorenza Bozzoli‘s “Step Into the Wild” collection for this event at the Fuorisalone.
Fratelli Boffi will also be among the main features of the Double Signature exhibition organized by the Cologni Foundation. This prominent Milanese event sees international designers collaborating with master craftsmen from the greater Milan area, resulting in a unique collection of original objects representing the creative exchange between a design culture open to contemporaneity and the region’s authentic expression of artistic finesse. Fratelli Boffi will participate by creating a product designed by Studio Angawi.
